Dinko Zlatarić attended elementary and grammar school in Zagreb where he graduated from the College of architecture.
He also accomplished the studies of painting and graphic art at "Folkwang" Academy of Fine Arts at the University of Essen, Germany where he later lectured on analytical drawing ( “Analytisches Zeichnen” ).
He is currently working in Croatia as an independent artist .
He is a member of the Croatian Association of Artists (HDLU).
In his work Dinko Zlatarić focuses especially on oil portraits in classical and realistic rendering.
